What to blog first?

The topic of this first blog is daunting; should it be about this "unroutined" Saturday, my outlook on life, my fears and passions, or just venting about my messy house?

Titling this whole blog "sagourd life" means that this site will be a type of personal journal page. The description section has already informed the reader what to expect, now I must deliver.

One way to bring myself some sanity would be to compose a list of topics to cover; possibly put them in a hat and withdraw one at random each time! I will not specify regularity of these blogs, they could be daily, weekly, or even ever couple of hours of I fancy!

A thing that I find strange about this endeavor, is that I am assuming there will be readers! Will I inform my friends and family about my site or just let the random person happen upon it? Do I feel the need to know that someone is out there taking in my blogging attempts? Yes. And no. The "no" is because I know that I need to express myself regardless if anyone reads or reacts. The "yes" is because we all crave validation [even looking up that word I don't know if that's what I mean!].

There was a time in which I wanted to be a writer; I started college as a journalism major and have gone through periods of actually being a poet. The experts always say to write 100 or 250 or 500 words a day. Author Greg Crites says he could eat a can a vegetable soup and shit out 100 [or was it more?] words a day; I just hope I have the time and mental ability to follow through on this blog so that it does not become a cobweb!

My daughter is waking now, so I must leave off here.

Peace!
